It's important to have a good saddle pad under your saddle. Saddle Pads help reduce pressure on the horse's back, remove water and cool the back, prevent the saddle from slipping, protect the saddle from dirt, horse hair and sweat.
Saddle pads can be made from natural or synthetic fibers. Natural saddle pads are made of wool, cotton, mohair and blends of these materials. Synthetic pads can be made from nylon, rayon, rubber and plastic.
